The Medford Lions Club

The Medford Lions have served the local community by running community events like the Perkinstown Tramp Snowshoe Race, golf tournament, rubber duck race, peace-poster contest and dial Santa. In the past, we have supported youth hockey, an inclusive playground in the Medford Public Park, youth baseball, Medford baseball, the Humane Society, and Indianhead Food Pantry.

One of the Lions’ major projects is supporting the visually impaired. Locally we have purchased large-print books for the Medford Library, we support vision screening and have purchased a spot camera, large-print calendars, and glasses for people who are unable to afford them on their own.

All proceeds from the snowshoe race contribute to these and other projects in the Medford community. We are immensely grateful for the continued support of our patrons and sponsors.
